By using One Stop Lawn, you agree to these terms. The app is provided as-is, recommendations are guidance not professional advice, subscriptions auto-renew through your app store until you cancel, and we limit our liability to the amount you've paid us.
By downloading, installing, or using the One Stop Lawn mobile or web application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and One Stop Lawn, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company ("we," "us," "our").
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above and notify you via an in-app notice the next time you open the App. Continued use of the App after a Terms update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may NOT: - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App - Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App - Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or rent the App - Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices - Use the App to scrape, mass-collect, or otherwise extract data in a way that violates any third-party service's terms (Anthropic, Rachio, weather services, etc.) - Use the App in connection with any commercial lawn care service or business without a separate written agreement with us
The App offers four paid subscription tiers. Pricing is in U.S. Dollars and may vary by region per Apple App Store and Google Play pricing rules:

Each tier unlocks additional features described in the App. Pricing may change in the future; we will give you notice at least 30 days before any price change affecting your subscription, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
New subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial on any paid tier. During the trial:
If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged the applicable subscription price at the end of the trial.
Subscriptions auto-renew. All subscriptions purchased through the App are billed and managed by Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on the tier you selected) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Renewal charges will be applied to the payment method on file with Apple or Google.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to your subscription features until then.

When your subscription is cancelled or expires:
You can resubscribe at any time to restore access to paid features.
All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled by them, not us. We have no ability to issue or process refunds on your behalf.
We will, however, attempt to help resolve technical issues that prevent you from accessing features you've paid for. Contact us at support@onestoplawnapp.com.
If you delete and reinstall the App, or switch devices, use Settings → Restore Purchases within the App to restore your existing subscription. No additional payment is required.
One Stop Lawn subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store do not currently support Apple Family Sharing. Each Family Sharing member must purchase their own subscription to access paid features.
Google Play family library is similarly not supported for subscriptions.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services under EU consumer protection law. This 14-day period runs concurrently with the 14-day free trial described in Section 4.2 — meaning the trial period itself satisfies your right of withdrawal.
If you do not start a trial and purchase a subscription directly, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund by contacting Apple, Google, or us. By starting to use paid features during this 14-day period, you acknowledge and consent to the immediate delivery of digital services and waive your right to withdraw once delivery has begun.
For California residents, California's Automatic Renewal Law requires us to clearly disclose the following:

Before purchasing any subscription, you will see a summary of the subscription's billing terms and a link to these full Terms.
The App includes AI-powered features (weed identification, insect identification, fungus identification, grass type identification, label scanning, soil test analysis, and Lawn Genie chat). These features are powered by third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude API).
Important limitations you must understand:
The App integrates with or links to third-party services including but not limited to: Anthropic, Vercel, Rachio, the National Weather Service, Open-Meteo, Tally.so, Apple, Google, DoMyOwn, SiteOne, Reddit, YouTube, university extension websites, and Amazon.
We do not control these services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
If a third-party service becomes unavailable, changes its API, or shuts down, the related features in the App may stop working. We will work to find alternatives or remove the affected features in a future update.
The App allows you to enter and store data (lawn names, zone names, journal entries, soil test results, photos, etc.). This data is stored locally on your device. We do not store this content on our servers.
You retain all ownership of your content. By entering content into the App, you grant us a limited license to display it back to you within the App and to process it (e.g., resize photos before sending to AI services) as required for the features to function.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you enter, including photos. Do not upload photos containing identifiable people who have not consented, copyrighted material you don't have rights to, or any unlawful content.
You agree not to use the App to: - Engage in any unlawful activity - Harass, threaten, or harm others - Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or damage the App's infrastructure (including our Vercel proxy, GitHub Pages hosting, or any third-party service we use) - Bypass, attempt to bypass, or assist others in bypassing the subscription gate to access premium features without a valid subscription - Reverse-engineer the API endpoints or impersonate the App when calling our backend - Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or violates any law
We reserve the right to suspend access for users who violate these terms, including by revoking the shared secret used to authenticate App requests to our backend.
The App, including its code, design, name, logo, icons, illustrations, written content, and overall look and feel, is owned by One Stop Lawn, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"One Stop Lawn" is a trademark of One Stop Lawn, LLC.
The App incorporates open-source components and references educational content from public university extension services (UGA, NC State, Clemson, Florida IFAS, and others). We do not claim ownership of those sources; we link to them as reference material.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
You use the App at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONE STOP LAWN, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING.
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless One Stop Lawn, LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: - Your use or misuse of the App - Your violation of these Terms - Your violation of any third party's rights - Your application of any product, treatment, or technique recommended by the App on your or anyone else's property
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Cancellation of paid subscriptions is handled through Apple or Google as described in Section 4.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15) will continue to apply after termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
You and we both waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class action against the other.
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, the following also apply:

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
